You are cordially invited to the opening reception of Speaking to One Another, an international exhibition that features the personal memories of individuals from Armenia and Turkey. The project is an achievement of civil society actors from Turkey, Armenia and Germany: Anadolu Kültür in Turkey, the Centre for Ethnological Studies Hazarashen, the Armenian Actors Union in Armenia, and dvv international, a public education organization in Germany. Featuring personal memories that emerged from oral history research conducted in Armenia and Turkey, the exhibition presents an interesting model of how intertwined yet contested pasts can be shared and discussed through a process of dialogue.

Parallel Event: 28 May 19 June 2012 Local History Workshops Learning with One Another with AHDR
